Jonathan, Charlotte, Julie and Sam each built a live show with me. Here's what happened, in their words rather than mine.

Not one of them arrived needing to be convinced a show was a good idea. They'd been sitting on it, in some cases for years.
I've been thinking about doing a podcast for over a year, and the thought of doing one terrified me.

I'd been toying with the idea of building some kind of live show or podcast for quite a while, and I'd been procrastinating it. The thing I didn't know was how to actually do it.

I've been running a live stream for the last five years and I haven't repurposed any of it, which is kind of nuts.

The thing that unblocked all of them was having the whole path laid out, plus someone expecting them to turn up.
LivePod is your complete system for going from concept and idea. We did the whole concept of the show and mapped all of that out, which was incredible because it actually gave me a structure. And then it's, here's the system, here's the research, and everything is in one place.

I'm a step by step kind of person. Give me a recipe and I can follow it. If I don't have a recipe I'm kind of paralysed.

Instead of some generated script out of ChatGPT, everything's done in your voice. It's all you. The only AI that comes in is the scheduling, and giving you the ideas.

It's also the accountability. Getting it in the diary, getting it done. That's what made me take action rather than sitting on it and it being, oh yeah, I'll do a podcast one day.

One session becomes the episode, the podcast, the newsletter and the week's social content. This is the part none of them expected to feel as different as it does.
She gives me the script, I look at it, I review it, I get my head around it, and then I go live. That's all I have to do. Once the live has gone out it gets edited, it becomes a podcast, then it gets broken up into social media chunks. I don't have to worry about, oh my God, what am I putting out this week.

I can't believe how much content I've had in the last three weeks compared to the last few years. It's night and day. And I know how to do all that stuff, I've just not been doing it. I didn't have the time, or the system to do it.

Then it's, ta-da, here's the completed output. Ta-da, here are all your social posts.

Every one of them talks about this without being asked, and it's the change they seem most surprised by.
I don't even recognise myself. I'm just like, who is she, showing up and doing that and chatting away. If you'd said to me a year ago that this time next year I'd be going live, I'd have said absolutely not, over my dead body. I used to cry if someone held a phone up in front of my face to answer one question on film.

I'm saying what I need to say more than I have before. I'm not being politically correct, I'm not being vanilla, I'm not being palatable. I'm going to say what I think and back it up with experience.

You get to see the personality that most of my offline friends see pretty much every day of the week. It feels surreal. We've finally got a YouTube channel with videos going out.

We're on week six and already my YouTube following is growing and growing and growing.

Don't overthink it. Just dive in. Which is exactly what I did.

If anyone's thinking about doing it, just do it. It's amazing.

If they can't find you, they can't buy from you. So you have to get used to being out there. Be the example, lead by example.

Join LivePod. You learn it all as you go, and you'd probably find a lot of your actions and results change because of that.

Each of them talking about their own show, uncut.
Had wanted a podcast for over a year and was terrified of being on camera. Now goes live every week.
Five years of live streaming and none of it repurposed. Three weeks in, more content than the previous few years.
Turns up, reviews the script, goes live. The episode, the podcast, the newsletter and the social all follow.
Had tried and failed to start a podcast before. Now has a YouTube channel that's actually running.
