These Terms of Service govern your use of Live Pod (livepod.io), a research and idea management tool for live show creators, operated by Connection Marketing LTD, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 16678162, whose registered office is C/O Approved Accounting Ltd, Office 43, 1000 Lakeside, Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, PO6 3EZ.
By using Live Pod you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. What Live Pod does
Live Pod helps live show creators research episode ideas, manage their knowledge base, generate steering briefs, and push approved ideas into their own production tools (such as Airtable). It uses AI (Claude, by Anthropic) to produce research and suggestions.
2. Accounts and access
Live Pod is currently invite-only. Access is granted on an account-by-account basis by the operator. You may not share your login or let other people use your account.
We reserve the right to revoke access at any time, particularly for the reasons listed in section 4 below.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of everything you upload (vision documents, audience notes, brand positioning, channel data, etc.) and everything you save (accepted episode ideas, chat history, accept/reject decisions). We don't claim any rights to your content beyond what's strictly needed to run the service for you.
AI-generated suggestions produced inside Live Pod are provided to you for use in your business. You may edit, publish, or build on them as you see fit, subject to Anthropic's usage policies for Claude.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Live Pod to break any law.
- Upload content that infringes someone else's rights (copyright, trademark, privacy, etc.).
- Try to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the service.
- Attempt to access another user's account or data, or to circumvent the access controls.
- Use the AI features to generate harmful, deceptive, or illegal content.
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label Live Pod without explicit written permission.
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you've breached these rules.
5. AI output disclaimer
Live Pod uses Claude, an AI model from Anthropic, to produce research summaries, episode suggestions, and chat replies. AI output can be wrong, incomplete, biased, or based on out-of-date information. You should treat all AI output as a starting point and apply your own editorial judgement before publishing or acting on it.
We don't guarantee that AI suggestions will perform well, find viral topics, match your brand voice perfectly, or be free of errors. The service is a tool to speed up your thinking, not a replacement for it.
6. Third-party connections
When you connect a third-party service like Airtable or YouTube, you authorise Live Pod to access only what's strictly needed for that integration. We never write to bases or tables you didn't pick, and we only touch your YouTube channel to do things you asked for. You can disconnect at any time inside the app, or revoke access from inside that third-party service.
Live Pod uses YouTube API Services. By using the YouTube features, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. How we handle data from your YouTube connection — and how to revoke our access, including via the Google security settings page — is described in our Privacy Policy.
We're not responsible for the behaviour or availability of third-party services. If Airtable or YouTube goes down, the features that depend on it will fail until it comes back up.
7. Service availability
We aim to keep the service available but don't guarantee uptime. We may deploy updates, fix bugs, or take the service offline briefly for maintenance. We're not liable for any losses caused by downtime, data loss, or temporary unavailability.
8. Pricing
Live Pod is currently provided at no charge during early access. We may introduce paid plans in future. If we do, we'll give you reasonable notice and you'll be able to choose whether to subscribe or stop using the service.
9. Termination
You can stop using Live Pod at any time and request that we delete your account and data (see the Privacy Policy).
We may terminate your access if you breach these terms, if continuing to provide the service to you would create legal or operational issues, or if we discontinue the service. Where reasonable, we'll give you notice and an opportunity to export your data first.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Live Pod and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of your use of the service. Our total liability for direct damages is limited to the amount you have paid us in the previous 12 months (which, while the service is free, is zero).
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (such as liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud).
11. No professional advice
Live Pod produces research and content suggestions. Nothing in the service constitutes legal, financial, medical, or professional advice. If you need that, consult an appropriately qualified professional.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page tells you when they last changed. Material changes will be flagged inside the app. Continued use after the update means you accept the new terms.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales, except where consumer protection laws give you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence.
